Happy Birthday Joyce– PART I!

Last Saturday, June 14 was my birthday (hahaha … I won’t tell you my age, I’m still pretty young but I’m in my 20s). I would like to share a part of my birthday experience with you guys so hopefully you will enjoy reading/viewing my awesome photos. As you may already know, I love stuff (purses, necklaces… almost anything that is fashionable). So, here are some of the presents that I received:
I got a Tarina Tarantino chunky lucite necklace. This necklace screams total fabulous-ness! It’s almost unlikely to not notice this necklace if I’m (or someone else is) wearing it. Who or what is Tarina Tarantino? Please read my previous article about Tarina Tarantino.
Next up... One of the best presents I have ever gotten in my life… LV… Ahhhh.. love at first sight..
Please don’t mind the oven nor the fridge behind me… I just need to open my presents in a well lighted room.

As I was editing the photos for this post; I was amazed on how much presents I received from my loved ones. I felt really blessed and happy for all the wonderful things they have given me. These adorable presents were given to me by my wonderful friends. LEFT: 4 anti-bacterial gels, 2 anti-bacterial foams, 1 hand lotion and 1 body scrub. RIGHT: Victoria’s secret hand bag, 1 shower gel, 1 body mist, 1 body lotion.

Why We Should Always feel great!
A human mind can be the most powerful thing that will ever exist. It can either destroy or create a person’s whole being. If we believe in what we think, and what we think will lead to what we say. Then, what we say can build a life that can affect our surroundings and circumstances. We should never ever think about negative things nor dwell on them. Negative Reaction towards life can lead to negative results. If you feel tired, and think about feeling tired, most likely you will be tired. But, if we let Positive things control you … you will have a positive attitude and positive circumstances. When someone asks you how your day was and you respond with “It is doing GREAT” and smile like theres no tomorrow. You’ve just influenced someone to have a positive day… Let positivity surround so that others will be attracted to you…
In the end, you will notice results on how others respond to you.

Filipino Festival Fashion (FFF)

This past Sunday, Filipino-Americans here in Washington D.C. Area celebrated Philippines Independence day.
The festival lasted for the whole day, there was so much food, music, and of course FILIPINOS! I rarely see Filipinos in my place. I was astound to see so many. I felt like I was in the Philippines. And of course, I wore something really pretty. I bought this lovely top from LVLX (level ten) at the mall. It had paddings and a very intricate detailed lace. The sleeves were double layered with frills. Isn’t that something? I love wearing one of a kind pieces. This blouse especially have tons of fine details that I really adore. The jeans that I am wearing were from Macy*s. Dark denim washed. I prefer wearing dark washed jeans because the make me look slimmer and more sophisticated. |
| After the Festival, my friend Jen and I went to the park to take tons of “wanna-be” modeling photos.
The weather was so nice, it was kind of breezy with hint of sunshine. It was the prefect day to take photos. What can I say about this photo? I am trying to do some “angles.” Really! I was trying to copy how the models (in magazines) pose… and this one (not the others) turned out fine. What do you think? Some random FAQs about me: |
